The "Palm + Gear = Bottle Opener" solution has developed into the Bottle Aid. The device clamps to the bottle and the cap. Pressed with the palm, the upper and lower clamp twist in a contra-rotating movement to open the cap. A spiral/helix thread produces a simultaneous turning and lifting motion. The function of the device is to loosen the bottle cap to an acceptable level where it can already be removed single-handedly.Project done in collaboration with:
